How To Add Safemoon To Metamask
In this guide I will write a clear step by step guide on how to add Safemoon to Metamask.
Note — there are numerous ways to do it. This is the method I tested.
PRE REQUISITES
Before adding Safemoon to Metamask, the following steps are required:
- You should have a Metamask account. See this guide
2. Your Metamask account needs to be connected to the Binance Smart Chain network. See this guide
3. You should have some USDT/ETH/BTC/BSC
Non-USA Residents can get their USDT/ETH/BTC/BSC here.
USA Residents can get their USDC/ETH/BTH here, and your BSC here
LETS ADD SAFEMOON TO METAMASK
- Login to Metamask and select the Networks menu
2. Select the Binance Smart Chain network
3. Open a new tab and go to https://coinmarketcap.com
In the search box, type in ‘safemoon’ and select it when the search populates
4. Click on the icon that looks like 2 pages in order to copy the contract address.
Note — You can also just click on the Metamask icon and then follow the steps.

5. Go back to Metamask, and click on Add Token
6. Select Custom Token, paste the contract address under Token Contract Address, press Enter, and then click on Next
Note- the Token Symbol and Decimals of Precision box will automatically populate if you have the correct contract address.
7. Select Add Tokens
8. Safemoon can now be stored in your Metamask wallet. Click on the “<” icon next to the name of your wallet in order to see it in your main dashboard.
